Their "Chicago style pizza" is no closer to actual Chicago style than California Pizza Kitchen is to actual pizza, but I liked the place anyway. My friend Aaron raved about a sandwich he had there. We also tried a white pizza with pesto that was great. It's a good place for a group of friends to split some pizza and a few pitchers of beer. Again, not authentic, but do you really expect to find deep dish in Arkansas?

Went here with the BF and his mom who lives in the Village.. We were here for a visit. She loves this place and she's FROM Chicago!! Like a lot of places in Hot Springs, places look deceptively small from the outside, but inside was decent size. It's a BAR, if you haven't figured that out yet . We didn't order pizza, although mom swears it's delish.. we went for an Italian Beef and Chicago hot dog adventure instead. I have never had Italian Beef. It's pretty damn good! I will admit, I was immediately confused with the integration of Chicago based foods, and a boxer from Philly.. but who am I to judge? The Italian beef comes either with Au Jus or without.. no cheese mentioned and no gardeniera either. That could be perceived as a negative to hard core Chicagoan. Meat is super tender though, and the bread is perfect.. loved the Au Jus. The hot dogs are about as legit as they come, which is AWESOME! Got it all right down to the electric green relish, Vienna brand hot dogs, and STEAMED poppy seed bun.. (there IS no other way!) I am actually very excited to try their pizza!! Next time we visit. Prices were meh.. pretty standard for what you get. One note of interest is this is RIGHT across the street from Oaklawn Racing and Gaming.. so it's a great way to end a day of fun! /Chicagostyle!

We tried Rocky's while on vacation and it did not disappoint! They offer a wide variety of Italian dishes and a few American food items. We had a side salad, Philly cheesesteak sandwich and pizza, all were delicious!

@ lake chilling in room after long hot day. Ordered the undisputed rockies corner champ, bottle caps, and hot wings. Pizza was on point. Perfectly cooked, great seasoning, toppings, cheese, and doneness. Bottle caps very spicy and wings were perfect. Deli

  • Jonathan C.

They had a special for a pitcher of beer and large pizza for $21, and we had the vegetarian pizza and a pitcher of Lagunitas IPA. The pizza was solid. The atmosphere was chill, with people feeding the juke box. No complaints.

  • Erika R.

Pretty cool local spot....nothing impressive. The hot wings are not hot at all, and didnt seem very Chicago Style Pizza to me.

  • Corina F.

Just great pizza at a great price after five $22 large pizza and a pitcher of beer. This place has been here forever so sometimes the waitstaff is a little too casual But if this does not offend you you are in for a treat

I love Rocky's Corner...being raised in hot springs it's defiantly a place that has been a icon for many years. During Track meet everyone meets here before we go over to the track. During sports season in the back bar area they have almost every game on TVs. It's Family Friendly, and group friendly....and almost forgot the most important part...The food is excellent...every time I come home to visit from California I have to go to Rocky's to get my pizza fix. Also the food is Chicago influenced. The Family that owns it is a very sweet family. And they remember locals and yearly vacationers....it's a place I'm proud is a part of my home and tradition in Hot Springs.

Great pizza and it's not overpriced. This establishment is advertised as Chicago-style and it was spot on. It was slightly different than the deep dish Chicago style I've seen before, it's along the the lines of the Uno's or Godfather's style. I had the "everything" medium, the ingredients were great and the sauce and cheese weren't over powering. The only thing I didn't care for was the pizza was cut into squares and not triangular slices. That was weird to me, so I got these odd shaped pieces every other piece. The service was great, attentive, and helpful. They have a big selection on the menu. The building might turn you away or you might even pass it by, look it up it is great food.

One of my favorite places in Hot Springs I always have to stop in when in town. I owe my love of toasted ravioli to Rocky's Corner over 30 years ago. This trip I found that Rocky's had redecorated and had lightened up the decor. I always loved the boxing/masculine theme. At least the Pizza's "Chicago Style" still had Boxing names. We ordered the 15" Split Decision - half Pepperoni and Half Italian Sausage and we devoured it. Still a great pie.

  • Kendall A.

I couldn't ask for more out of hot wings, they had a nice crispy shell and delicious flavor with plenty of chicken on the bone. The pizza bianca with chicken and spinach was also tasty; the crust was firm on the bottom, it was cooked evenly, and nice and soft in the middle. The staff were very busy, but still very respectful, thoughtful, and friendly. The price was absolutely reasonable.

Best pizza in Hot Springs! Must visit after a day at the famous Oaklawn Race Track! Great service and nice bar. Also, kid friendly. This place has been around for many, many years.

Great pizza! We had the Contender which was bacon and pineapple. It was awesome! We will definitely be back!

  • Terrell O.

This was a very good resturant. I gauge my experience on hospitality of staff and how good the food is. They were amazing. The waitresses we very nice and had a good sense of humor with myself and my family. Felt like I've known them before my visit here. The food was very good. We had pizza, wings, and sandwiches. All were very good. I would definitely go again.

Super delicious!!! We have been to many pizza places and this one ranks tops! We had beer, the KO and some tequila;) very memorable!

The service was slow but the pizza was awesome. We got both a traditional and a chicken/ Alfredo pie, both were outstanding.

Great pizza place. Came here because of the reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. The T.K.O was amazing. Great flavor nice crunchy crust. If I'm ever in the area again will be back.

Within stumbling distance to Oaklawn Racetrack, Rocky's Corner is the place to be if any Chicago team is playing. If you judge a restaurant by ambience and decor, you don't want Rocky's. Their selling point is their food. The design is retro by virtue of being old. They're probably proud of that bit. The Good: Chicago-style pizza - or as close as you'll get it in Hot Springs, AR. Tasty, fantastic crust. Their french onion soup is a winner. I've never been disappointed with anything I've eaten here. The Bad: Racing season. When the ponies are running, this place is packed and the kitchen is struggling to keep up. Grab a table if you can and know that your waitress will be frazzled, your order will take forever and everyone's patience will be tested.

OK so my honeymoon weekend, wanted pizza , read what I thought was pretty good reviews ... so ordered the ( long count) to be delivered a mile from this pizza joint to a near by hotel .... hour and half later received a Luke warm pie kinda skimpy on topping tasted less than average but i was hungry ate about half of a large . Big mistake !!!!!!!! On the pot ! Yes I said on the pot within 6-8 hours afterwards for the next 24 hours ! Pizza sucks major ass (literally) raw as it gets . So absolutely zero freaking stars ! Sucks !!!!! Oh and if I could've selected negative stars I would have !!!!!

I am a Chicago style pizza eater and this was like I was outside O'Hare. The best pizza I've had outside of Chicago. Good appetizers, good pitchers of beer and the pizza is worth it. Had anchovies for the first time and it was good. Service was sassy and awesome. This place is hoppin after the races. It is worth the trip across the street fr Oaklawn.

  • Kathy B.

Came here by mistake but so glad I did. Pizza was GREAT! Will definitely be back. I think it was about the best I've had. Service was good, too.

  • Brenda M.

This place is the beeeesssttt!! The greatest pizza I've had in a while! My family and me traveled to Hot Springs for the Labor Day holiday. We spent time at the casino (across the street from the restaurant), we got hungry and guess what? Walked a block, crossed the street and went inside Rocky's Corner. My mom and her friend ordered hot sandwiches and my husband and me ordered pizzas. The quality, the freshness of there food was all there! The meats, sauce and cheeses they use - you can see the quality. REAL cheese isn't greasy like what they use for the fast food/delivery chain pizza joints. If I ever return to Hot Springs, I will definitely go back!

  • Amber L.

We ordered the Pizza Bianca and the Contender (Canadian bacon and pineapple). Chicago style pizza. Decent service - our food came quickly, drinks were filled, etc. Clean environment with plenty of televisions for game nights. Not to mention that the Oaklawn race track and only casino in Arkansas are conveniently located right across the street. I'm a fan...

Went to Rocky's for a couple beer and some dinner after winning some money at the first weekend of horse racing at Oaklawn this year. This is the second time that I have been in here but only the first that I have had the chance to eat. Being the first weekend of racing and the fact that Rocky's is literally right across the street, this place was packed. There was eight of us so we sent some people over to get us a table before the races were over. Now I can't remember our servers name but she was damn good for as busy as it was. We had a couple of pretty demanding people with us and she handled they pretty well. We ordered two large pizzas, one all meat, and the other I think was a supreme or something along those lines. First, you must know that they slice their pizza into squares which really doesn't bother me but I don't think the wife likes. However, the squares don't change how the meal tastes. I don't think this pizza is gonna jump out and slap you and make you say "DAMN THIS IS GOOD PIZZA" but it is pretty good. All in all the food was good, service good, beer cold, and the football game on. What more could you ask for.

Rocky's Corner is not technically a dive bar. It's an Italian restaurant. It has supposedly 'Chicago Style Pizza' and all kinds of Italian dishes. There are sports pics and collages all over the walls with an emphasis on boxing, of course. Plenty of tables and booths. Clean bathrooms. Efficient waitresses and bartenders. However, I put it in the dive bar category because of the bar. They have 6 or 8 taps of what I'd call 'class' beer. I'm not talking Bud or Miller, light or other wise. I'm talking Fosters, Bass Ale, Killians, Samuel Adams and on and on. They also have a policy I've heard of in no other bar. They'll pour you a half pitcher at half the extraordinarily low pitcher price. What makes that great is when they try to pull a half they always pour more, to make sure you get your half. This also makes it possible to sample several of the different beers, at least until you fall off the stool. Oh, and the stools all have backs. The giant and smaller TVs behind the bar are at your disposal, depending on your bar mates. All this makes Rocky's a great dive bar even tho it's really a 'family' dive bar. And did I mention, the racetrack, Oaklawn Park, is right across the street.

Italian restaurant/sports bar with a boxing theme. Kind of cool that they put frozen water filled plastic rods in the pitchers of beer to keep them cold. Seems like most people order a half pitcher. Since I don't like deep dish Chicago style pizza, I ordered a thin crust. It was really quite good. Only complaint was the mushrooms were canned. Very enjoyable, sorry I won't have time to try their other Italian items. Good pizza place, for sure, and ya got to give them points for keeping the beer cold!

  • John M.

Pizza average at best, salad pretty weak, ital dressing okay. Ordered delivery. Was staying at the best west next door. Gal delivering says she walked which is cool. Hello blondie I'm staying AT A HOTEL!!!!!!!! Don't you think I may need plastic utensils for a salad??? And to think I tipped this butch 5 bucks. NEVER AGAIN I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. It's just OK at the most.

    (1)
  • Bob F.

Ordered the Rocky's Undisputed Corner Champ Pizza. It was OK. Having lived in Chicago I can say this isn't "true Chicago Style Pizza". Although it is deep dish it isn't the same crust you find in Chicago. Also in Chicago cheese is on the bottom and toppings on top. I also ordered the hot wings. Unlike most wings that are delivered they were not soggy and wet. Big wings very crispy but would be considered mild anywhere else I've been. Be sure to ask for extra hot seasoning.

    (3)
  • Sam S.

Hands down best pizza in Hot Springs. Good Chicago style with good toppings. Very consistent.

    (5)
  • Suzanne D.

Excellent pizza! We are from out of town and were looking for something to go that would still be tasty. This hit the mark! Hot, flavorful and cheesy with great crust!

  • Erika D.

Fantastic spot! Went twice for dinner on our 4 night visit. Perfect family place, delicious pizza with awesome crust. The house-made Italian dressing is so flavorful. Vegetable pizza and pizza Bianca are wonderful. The Cheese Steak sandwich is as authentic as a real Philly cheesesteak! Good prices and great service, highly recommend!!

  • Tammy S.

Excellent Italian food for a casual lunch or dinner. The pizza was different from traditional but very tasty! Service was very good. Priced right. I would definitely go back.

  • Mark G.

Hell yeah! It's been 4 long, long years since we had some Rocky's pie and that will never happen again. The atmosphere, the location, the food! Chicago style is the only style! This is perfection. We had the 1/2 pep and 1/2 Italian sausage with extra cheese. Just add beer!!! Do this!!! Do this hardcore!!!!

    (5)
  • Robert G.

I have been here a few times and this is some of my favorite pizza I have ever had. Got the heavyweight with added bacon and light cheese. Don't know of anything that would have made it better.

    (5)
  • Daniel B.

Great traditional-style pizzeria in Hot Springs! Service was friendly and attentive! Pizza was hot, fresh toppings, great sauce, and the bottom of the crust had an amazing crispness to it! I wish we had discovered this place earlier during our trip to Hot Springs.

    (5)
  • Dan Z.

I just don't get it. I wouldn't call this Chicago-style pizza, just someone trying to pass it off as such. I ordered a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza, side salad and wings. The pizza was bland and not enough toppings, the side salad fine, the wings were just ok. Very disappointing. I've decided that local pizza restaurants can't match my expectations.

    (2)
  • Cecilia S.

Love this pizza! I'm living in Arizona right now and they have no pizza compared to Rocky's. Every time I come back to visit, that's the first food I get, it's that good.

  • Jon F.

Okay, so we saw the pictures and the yelp reviews and thought this would be a good place to get pizza... It's a bar. No breadsticks on the menu just overpriced garlic bread and $9 artichoke dip. $9!! We didn't order it, but there is no way that dip is worth $9. We started with the onion rings which were apparently made fresh and weren't that good but also weren't that bad. It was just weird to eat that before pizza. Then we had the Pizza Bianca. It was alright, for pizza in a bar. Nothing special. We couldn't justify the $30 pizza prices at Delucas but given that we paid close to that after tip, I think I would rather have gotten Delucas and just ate in the hotel room...

  • Heather S.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it has really great pizza inside. It is a little past the bath house row which helps because there a a nice big FREE parking lot. I would eat here again the next time I'm in Hot Springs.

    (5)
  • George D.

Best pizza ever. The pizza in Chicago doesn't measure up. We had the split decision. Delicious. Thought we might run light and ordered a small cheese. What a surprise. Be sure to get the salad with house dressing. We're ordering dressing to take home to figure out how to make. Yes it is that good. Next time in Hot Springs. Gotta come here. Waitress very friendly

  • Shannon S.

This isn't close to any of the Chicago pizza I've ever had. I lived in northern Indiana for 18 years, so I'm pretty familiar with Chicago style pizza. In fact, this pizza reminded me of the pizza you find in upstate New York, around the Rochester area. That being said, it's a good pizza, just not Chicago style. Appetizers were good. Beer selection was limited. Decent place for a meal.

    (4)
  • S S.

For the price of this restaurant& the claim to having Chicago style pizza it's AWFUL! Bad crust bad sauce the cheese even tasted like an artificial cheese product! Terrible... Shame on you for saying Chicago style pizza...

  • Nolen G.

I love places like this. Beer....good food....hot Italian waitress. What more can you ask for? We got to-go pizzas last weekend. Rockys Supreme and pepperonis for the kids. Not quite as deep as a true Chicago pie, but it was really, really good. I can't wait to go back and eat more stuff on the menu. Eat local!

Delicious pizza! Fast and courteous delivery to our hotel. I'd highly recommend Rocky's.

  • Mary A.

We enjoyed the pizza, but the crazy show was our whacked out waitress!!! She was trying her best, but something was definitely not right. Thank goodness she didn't make the pizza!! :)

    (3)
  • Susan T.

This a low-key, seat yourself kind of place. The service is lightening fast. Our pizza arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The pizza wasn't Chicago style (not deep dish). It was also a bit on the dry side and could've used some more tomato sauce but fluids washed down the bites just fine. All and all, we ate all of it and felt satisfied when leaving.

  • Heather H.

Good Pizza, Cold Beer, and a great waitstaff. Can't say more and can't complain.

    (4)
  • Foodbag B.

This place used to be so good. When I was in high school there, the Rocky's vs Rod's debate was like baseball in New York in the 1950s - do you prefer Willie, Mickey, or the Duke? They were all Hall of Famers, so there was no wrong answer. The square pan pizza, split decision (pepperoni and Italian sausage), was amazing. But they changed things up maybe 10 years ago. The pizza is still good, but it's not drive out of your way to fight Oaklawn traffic good.

    (3)
  • Brian C.

Good pizza and handled our table of four adults and four children well. Good service, even better prices. Be aware their cheesesticks are actually fried mozzarella sticks, not pizza crust with cheese on it.

  • C. H.

Loved the atmosphere, the wait staff, and the pizza -- AWESOME! I recommend the Unanimous Decision pizza. Yum!

Great food from a local pizza joint. The service was awesome and the pizza was good. I would come back again the next time I'm in town.

I had a delicious Italian beef sandwiches with au jus at Rocky's across from Oaklawn Jockey Club. I came here for dinner on St. Patty's and they were slammed but my waitress Tiffany had a smile and great attitude even when dealing with a bunch of loud drunks. The beer was cold, the prices weren't remarkably cheap, but I left with a full belly and a smile. A-OK!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
